The Gold Rush Chapter of Trout Unlimited conducts fly tying classes every second Thursday of the month at the American Legion in Dahlonega, Ga.The class runs from 6 to 9pm. We are doing a seminar on fly fishing and also will have a table at this event. The event is being held at the Dawson County High School. Sherman Head is heading up this effort..
September 7, 2010 - Chapter Meeting
Meeting held at Ivie Lodge at beautiful Camp Glisson in Dahlonega, Georgia. Camp Glisson is just one and one-half miles north of Dahlonega on Camp Glisson directional sign is on the left 200 yards past Lumpkin County High School and across from Ace Hardware. Turn left onto Camp Glisson Road. It will bring you to the security gate in one-half mile. Continue about one-half mile past the gate through the camp to a bridge on your right. Cross the bridge and Ivie Lodge will be 100 yards on the left. Dinner is served at 6:30 PM. Meeting starts at 7:00 PM

November 3, 2010 -Gold Rush Cup Workday
This is the Chestatee river cleanup at Frog Hollow for the Gold Rush Cup.
Chapter members who attend will be given the opportunity to fish the river after the cleanup.
November 6-7, 2010 - 2nd Annual Gold Rush Cup
The Gold Rush Chapter of Trout Unlimited, Dahlonega, Georgia is pleased to announce their sponsorship of the 2nd annual “Gold Rush Cup, Fly Fishing Challenge”. You are invited to attend or to participate in this fly fishing event to be hosted by Frog Hollow on the beautiful and picturesque waters of the Chestatee River in Dahlonega Georgia.
The Amateur Qualifier - Saturday November 6th 2010, 7:30am-5:30pm, Entry Fee $250. Winner moves on to compete in the Gold Cup The following day Note: The Amateur Challenge is not open to professional fishing guides
The Gold Cup Challenge - Sunday November 7th 2010, 7:30am - 5:30pm, Entry Fee $500
